This winter has been the worst winter off all for sickness in our house, at least form me it has been. When we were gone down South this past weekend the kids were complaining of headaches and just weren't themselves . Well Wednesday I took Austin into the Doctor because he had been running a fever and had them do a strep test on him. Well they said it was negative and yesterday I got a call and they said it turned positive. Jayden has had the same symptoms with a fever so they just treated her to. Well last night I thought I was getting it back, but today i feel a little better so who knows what that is all about.
This winter has been horrible for me because it started off in December with flu like symptoms while it continued out through January and in January I was diagnosed with Mono. While since then I've had the flu twice, strep throat, 2 bladder infections, and this past weekend I jammed my hip so I've been in lots of pain and unable to sleep at night. Currently I still have mono. So this winter has been a house full of sicknesses for me and really I haven't left my house much until now that we started track I go to that everyday I feel good enough to go. So please pray for us that this is the end of the sicknesses. Its getting really annoying with all this stuff especially for me not feeling good myself and to have to take care of sick kids. I hope all of you have had a better winter then ours cause honestly I don't think I can handle it anymore. Hopefully next year will be better.

Hey Katie, you're in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry that this winter has been so rough on you. And for me, at least, it seems like if I start the season out with a sickness, I never get strong enough to fight anything off and end up with everything going around. I feel exhausted just thinking of how you feel! Here is to warm weather and healthy families.....
